Why do mop brushes look messy when dry?
When dry, mop bristles can look bushy and unshaped. This is completely normal. Once you load them with water they immediately return to a clean, pointed shape. Quill-bound mops may have a few straggly hairs where the brush head meets the quill, which does not affect performance.

How do I clean a mop brush?
Clean immediately after each session. Rinse with clean water, then work gently with brush cleaner or mild soapy water. Avoid scrubbing. Reshape to a point with your fingers and lay flat or store bristle-end up to dry.

What paper should I use with mop brushes?
Cold-pressed watercolor paper at 300 GSM or higher. Our 100% cotton paper is the professional choice. For practice, the 25% cotton paper works well too.
